Federal law requires persons to complete the ATF 4473 Form prior to receiveing any firearms or items.  This form is used to complete a NICS Background check.  You can either complete the form in the shop in person, or the preferred method is to complete the PDF form and send us the form digitally.

We are also happy to help out with firearm and NFA transfers.  If there is something you are looking we would always appreciate the opprutunity to find the item and make the sale, however we understand that you may just prefer to use us for your transfer.    


Transfers must be arranged/requested by using our online web-store.  This gives us the required information to start your order in our system, submit our FFL to the sending dealer, and receive the item.  Once the firearm/item is received you will be contacted via email to proceed with the transfer.  We prefer to streamline the process and are able to have you complete the background check form digitally via PDF to begin the process.  Instructions are emailed to the customer once the firearm/item is received.  If you prefer to come to the shop and complete the background check ink and paper, we are happy to assist with that as well.  Ultimately, the transfer must occur in person, at our shop as the firearm will need to be physically picked up and identification verified.  


Begin by completing the order on our webstore to start the transfer process if you havent done so.  Once you recevie the order update that your firearm/item is ready for pickup please complete the background form PDF.


Background Form PDF Directions:

1.  You will need a basic PDF reader application that allows the completion of fillable PDF forms, most modern browsers and smartphones, tablets, etc have this included.  Otherwise Adobe Reader or similar applications can be used.

2.  Access the PDF and first save it to your desktop or other location before completing the form.

3.  Complete the form starting with Question 9 - Section B, through questions 21.1.2, Question 22 will require an ink signature in person at the time of your appointment.  Do not sign the form until in the store.   Answer all questions completely and truthfully, do not use abreviations.  

4.  Save the PDF as your last name, example: lastname.pdf  - It is very important that the form is saved as a digital PDF that can still be completed by staff.  Do not print and scan.

5.  Send the PDF form, along with a your driver's license and permit to carry/purcahse to us via email or below.
